The answers to today's Strands, game #683, are DRUM CANAL LOBE ANVIL HAMMER CARTILAGE SPANGRAM: HEARHEAR My rating: Hard My score: 2 hints

After getting the most obvious ear-related words with DRUM, CANAL and LOBE I hit a brick wall and relied on hints to complete the game.

Even with a hint I struggled with ANVIL, thinking it was something like livna before finally getting it; if only Id spent more time examining
cross-sections of ear parts.
