The Tour Down Under 2026 marks the beginning of the UCI WorldTour season, and a host of intriguing names will contest the Ochre Jersey, including 2025 winner Jhonatan Narvez.

Spread across six stages, the race will cover a total of 758.9km, with a
route less tailored to pure sprinters this time around. It all begins in Adelaide with a short 3.6km prologue that is expected to create only minimal time gaps between the riders. That is followed by five stages well suited to general classification contenders, with the now-infamous Willunga Hill being scaled three times on Stage Four. Whoever emerges on top there will likely have one hand on a place atop the podium.

The race concludes in Stirling with one of the longest final stages in the Tours history.

Leading the betting is Team UAEs Jhonatan Narvez, who claimed his first and only WorldTour stage-race victory at this very event last year. Elsewhere,
Ben OConnor will be hoping to impress on home soil, Adam Yates continues following his brothers shock retirement, and Jay Vine will carry significant expectations from the Aussie public.
