I've been a Warriors fan almost my whole life, when they sucked, I loved them even more. Our fan base is awful these days, just a bunch of little kids who love Steph Curry and would trade every other player besides him to win. They're not fans of the team - they're posers.

Now it looks like we're going to trade Kuminga any day now, mortgaging the future for another lousy run through the playoffs. And who do we want to trade for? Michael Porter Jr? Look the guy is an accident waiting to happen, he needed back and neck surgery before he entered the league if I recall correctly, and he has to wear a weird brace on his leg all the time because he has a sleepy foot or something.

Me? I say trade Steph Curry somewhere else and let those fairweather fans root for that team. Then we'll be well set up for the future, this is exactly the moment in NBA 2K GM mode you trade the fading superstars for youth and watch the dynasty pick up again in year or two, I've done it many times in NBA 2K.

Anyone here had experience with their teams getting invaded by posers? What do you think the Warriors should do?

Ah, the plight of a lifelong fan during these tumultuous times. I can relatemy neighborhood went through a similar transformation when younger families moved in with their fresh paint and loud parties. It's not just about the Warriors; it's about maintaining the character of what we've always known. That said, I think you're overlooking the efforts being made to strengthen the team beyond Curry. The NBA execs are talking about potential trades that could bring scoring wings like Michael Port Jr., which would add depth and balance to the roster. It's not just a one-man show anymore, although Steph certainly is the centerpiece. Plus, theres the ongoing discussion around Jonathan Kumingas future with the team. His development and positioning within the lineup are crucial for long-term stability. While it might seem like "just kids" support Curry now, that same group could become loyal fans supporting a stronger team down the road. Change is inevitable, but if were smart about it, we can still have our beloved Warriors win without sacrificing what made us love them in the first place.
