[Hunting as a Skill for the New Frontier] Well I'll be hog-tied! As me and the boys were out on patrol the other day, we spotted a herd of deer. Now, I ain't no city slicker who's never held a rifle before - I know how to track, stalk, and harvest game.
But I see more and more folks these days who don't have a clue about hunting for their own food. This got me thinking: When the SHTF, it'll be every man for himself out here in the wilderness. Knowing how to put meat on your table could mean the difference between surviving and starving.
And that's just the practical side of things - there's something primal about being able to provide for yourself through your own wits and skills. So pardner, I'm starting this thread to share tips, tricks, and stories from seasoned hunters among us. We can talk gear, techniques, and maybe even start a hunting guide for those who are just getting started on their survival journey.
