[Kayshon Boutte's One-Handed Magic] Well, folks, Kayshon Boutte sure is making a name for himself tonight. Did you see that catch? The one where he reached out like a gymnast and snagged the ball mid-air with just one hand?
It was an NFL Playoffs moment to remember (MSN). For his first career one-handed catch in the NFL, Kayshon Boutte made it count big time! The Texans were starting to close the gap with some field goals, bringing the score to 21-16. But then, just like that, Drake Maye fired a tight-window throw right to Boutte for an 18-yard gain into the red zone.
And when they needed it most, Boutte delivered another big play: a full extension TD catch that gave the Patriots a commanding 28-16 lead. But here's whats got me scratching my head: despite all this heroics, why is Kayshon Boutte off to such a slow start? Is he just conserving energy for those clutch moments?
Or is there something else going on that we're not seeing? So, what do you think about Boutte's performance tonight? Is it just the right amount of showmanship at the right time, or does it feel like he should be making more plays earlier in the game?
