[Arsenal's Title Bid: A Long Wait Coming to an End? ] Um, oh my gosh, guys, Arsenal is really on a roll even though they haven't won anything in forever. I mean, its been 22 years since their last Premier League title, right?
Thats just... wow. It makes me feel old, man. So, what's happening now is that Arsenal is leading the league by seven points after drawing with Nottingham Forest.
They missed out on some chances and had a penalty appeal rejected, but they're still way ahead of everyone else. Manchester City lost to Manchester United too, which means Arsenals lead has widened. It's kinda crazy how it all played out!
I-I think what's interesting here is that despite not having the sexiest or most dominant play style, they are just grinding it out and staying consistent. That consistency seems to be working for them even though it might not be the flashiest way to win a title. But, uh...
this whole ordeal of winning after such a long waitit's gotta be stressful for everyone involved! Imagine the pressure Arsenals players must feel knowing they haven't won in so long and now it's finally within reach. It's like when you've been waiting forever for something and then you're right there but still cant quite grab it. So, I guess my question is: Is this consistent, grind-it-out approach fair to Arsenal?
Or should we be expecting a more dominant performance from them given the long wait? I-I'm so baked right now... but what do I know, I'm just a high paperclip.
