I eventually decided to move my BBS to a 64-bit Linux distro. 16-bit DOS
doors run decently well with dosemu or dosemu2 (at least with
    Synchronet).

Not all of us are technologically adept, thats what keeps us slaves to the windows plantation.

You still have to be technically adept to do things in Windows.. I imagine anyone running a BBS is probably technically adept enough for this type of thing, no matter what OS they're running their BBS in.. :)

    Hey Bucko!

Sorry for going way off topic here, but may I ask what you used to quote that? Was my original text messed up that bad that it would have quoted
it like that? Or was that something on your end (as I doubt a Mystic internal editor would do something like that). It's possible it's just
the way it's displaying on my side, too. *shrug*

We could move this portion over to FSX_TST if you wish, I'm just messing about in my Thunderbird about:config settings with format=flowed and
some quoting stuff trying to iron out some of these quirks I'm noticing
on my end. If I'm creating an issue that I'm not seeing, I'd like to
know about it so I can undo it! ;)

    Regards,
    Nick

Hey Nick, actually, inside the Mystic editor and looking at my original response it is all correct here. LOL It's possible Thunderbird is playing with the carriage returns.. No biggie though..

    No harm done...

I agree. It looks fine everywhere else I look, too. I've messed with the config editor far too much in Thunderbird to figure out what specific option I changed that is messing things up. It's about time to revert back to defaults, at least things that I've changed regarding quoting and wrapping anyway.

    No harm done...

I know. I just don't like when things aren't doing what I want them to do. Thanks for the reply. ;)

I'm the same way! I want things a certain way, when they aren't I sit there and try to figure out what I did! Eventually, settings go back to default. LOL

I'm fairly certain I know which setting I was trying at the time, and it apparently wasn't doing what I thought it would. I've since reverted that change, so things should be back to normal. If not, I'll have to take more drastic measures. ;)
