LOL I remember when daytime gameshows used to have prizes like that. As kid in the 1970s/early-80s, I thought that was impressive. :D

Yeah, I was a big game show fan back then. When I was a kid/teen, during Summer vacations, I'd be up 'round 9am, just in time for the four-hour block game shows on the three networks...yes, three. I knew 'em all; The Price is Right, The $10,000 Pyramid, Joker's Wild, et al.

The Price is Right was my main go-to during my childhood as it was always on right around lunch time. IIRC, the "big 3" network stations in my area had already moved off of game shows in the morning during that time and were showing mostly syndicated programming (old tv shows), and one had a morning soap opera or two. Pyramid had been shown but wasn't any longer, and Joker was on in the evening, sometime between the local news and prime-time.

I did enjoy the Joker! Seems like it disappeared about the time that Wheel and Jeopardy started showing in my area. Sometime during the day, we did have Hollywood Squares, though. I really liked Let's Make a Deal back then, but it was not on in our area... I could only watch it when visiting my Grandparents or Aunt in another area. ;)
