I decided to dust off and pull out the air fryer again tonight and give it another go for dinner.

Tonight I decided to make some air fried chicken and it actually came out good!

While I was prepping things, I preheated the air fryer before actually cooking. I then also dialed back the cook time a tiny bit and made sure to flip half way through .

It's been a long time since I gave it a go so I'm not really sure what I messed up so bad in previous attempts. This was easy and quick (I think took about 15 min?)

My guess is I must have just been cooking things way too long.

I'm going to have to try and throw some more things into this thing in the future and see how it turns out!

Good to hear. :) I really think an air fryer is a handy little appliance.

That is usually what causes me issues. I also preheat and try to
remember to turn things about halfway, as you mentioned. Not
overcooking, and doing those things, seems to give good results.

Trader Joe's is a Mecca for fryer foods. They have Ariancini (sp) balls, essentially arborio rice and cheese balls. ditto for breaded, fried Mac
and Cheese balls. Vegetarian and Chicken Somosas. Mini tater tots. Pigs
in a blanket with parmesan cheese crusts... and the list goes on.
