Perhaps my ADHD is inescapable... I really can't find any game that I
can play even for a few hours... Most I only give a few minutes. I've tried Inside, but got bored with that quickly.

Oh no... did you get stuck somewhere or just got bored by the game regardless? That was a quick one to complete, 3-5 days maximum, evenings time.

    I have yet to play
Chained Echoes for more than an hour, and that's a really fun rpg! I don't suffer from brain rot, I've never been one for short form media.
I just can't get into anything and it's extremely frustrating... Any ideas? I'd love to have a normal attention span, but I can't take ADHD medication due to contraindications with my schizophrenia meds... I
    can't win for losing...

Well, look at it this way. Experience playing not completing. This way when you jump from a game to a game you at least get the general overview of what these games represent and will have less bad feeling about having a backlog.

I really try to complete a game when I start one. Not always possible. Also I get bored quite often but still struggle to go as far as I can.. it all consumes time and when I spend time on one title, 5 more interesting appear on the horizon. You can't play them all one said.. but with your attitude actually you could use it as a benefit to play more titles and bring a general overview of these titles to the community.

That would be valuable feedback to share. What's that game about, why did it trigger your attention, how did it lose it, are you aiming to return?

One more suggestion. Always try small games and simpler (not in the context of difficulty, but complexity). That should give you at least the feeling that you've progressed enough before dropping it off.

I just lost interest. It happens a lot.

That sounds like a plan! I do like mentioning the games that I play and I generally only play them for a short period of time. An example would be
Jedi Fallen Order, which is a Soul's Like, but has difficulty modes. I
played it for about an hour and had some fun. The combat is pretty easy to pick up and I didn't get very far into the force powers, but it is definitely entertaining. The maps might be a little confusing to some, though.
