    I found the Borg statement in Picard chilling:

    "We are the Borg. You will be annihilated. Your biological and
    technological distinction have become irrelevant. Resistance is
    futile... but welcome."
    I tried to watch Picard but just could not get into it. I am hung up on them looking so old and frail. I am glad the legacy continues. Do you think this will be the last series we will see the original cast in?

    I made it through and thought season 3 was the best. I think you could
    even just watch season 3 and it will mostly make sense. It was really a
    reunion season for The Next Generation and was a nice wrap up. The first
    two seasons dragged on too much. I'm much more a fan of episodic Star
    Trek rather than an expisode stretched across an entire season. But,
    that worked for season 3 because it was better paced and you could see
    it as one big movie. :-)

    they arent rich so they will be glad to do anything that
    pays.
